Pastor Richard Mitchell was born in Sandusky, Ohio in 1955. He was saved and Spirit-filled on July 6, 1971, and this marked the most significant change in his life. Pastor Mitchell graduated from high school in 1973 and holds two bachelor’s degrees and a Masters in Divinity from Western Illinois University and Emmanuel Bible College and Seminary.
Pastor Mitchell is married to Sharon Banks-Mitchell and they currently celebrate 47 years together. They have 4 daughters, 4 sons-in-law, and 7 grandchildren. Pastor Mitchell and Sister Sharon Mitchell established Harvest Fellowship Church in 1997 with the vision of “Bringing in the Harvest and having a good time doing it.”
Harvest Fellowship Church is a community of believers that love God, one another, and the world.
Over the years, Pastor Mitchell has always worked a secular job to support his family and exemplify a good Christian example.
I personally count it a joy to be a part of the lives God sends us. My promise to all is to teach, preach, and live the Word of God as we progress together until the coming of the Lord.
